Online Workshops

IFS-Informed 6 monthWorkshop (Online)

This six-month online workshop series offers a grounded, experiential pathway into parts work, combining clear teaching with consistent, supported practice.

This programme is designed to be easily accessible with a series of 6 x full days of teaching and practice sessions.

Each core teaching day introduces key principles and skills, which are then explored and deepened through smaller group practice, with an invitation to practice in smaller groups during the weeks that follow.

This rhythm allows learning to settle, unfold, and become usable in real therapeutic relationships.

Sessions combine teaching, live demonstrations, meditations and dyad practices supported by a facilitation team. This creates a balance between structure and direct experience, allowing each participant to develop both confidence and sensitivity in their work.

Designed for therapists and body-based practitioners, this workshop series offers a steady and relational approach to learning.

By the end of the course, you'll have acquired the essential skills needed to confidently work in a parts-based and IFS-informed way with your clients and yourself.

"The demonstrations, role-play, and contemplative activities truly brought the concepts to life for me and allowed me to connect with my own unique parts in a profound way. This hands-on approach made my learning experience both impactful and memorable."

Workshop Structure:

Friday 1 – Introduction to Parts & Self
We begin by exploring multiplicity of mind, Self energy, managers, firefighters and exiles, and the difference between working from curiosity rather than expertise. The focus is on recognising parts in ourselves and others.

Friday 2 – Blending, Unblending & Parts Detection
We explore how parts show up through language, body, tone and relational cues. There will be an introduction to the 6Fs, somatic tracking, practitioner activation, and the art of recognising who is present.

Friday 3 – Protectors & Their Fears
This day focuses on protectors, their strategies, fears, polarities and protective intentions. We look at consent, permission and why trust cannot be rushed or forced.

Friday 4 – Direct Access & Relational Presence
We explore how to stay connected when blending remains, including direct access, speaking to parts, tracking overwhelm, co-regulation, and developing steadiness in the practitioner seat.

Friday 5 – Exiles, Burdens & Healing
We gently introduce vulnerable parts, burdens, witnessing, retrieval, compassion and pacing. There will be careful attention to ethical boundaries, trauma sensitivity and knowing when not to go deeper.

Friday 6 – Integration & Clinical Application
The final day brings the learning into practice, including therapist parts, rupture and repair, limits of practice, next steps and how to carry a parts-informed orientation into client work.
