Daily Parts Meditation Practice®
A Journey towards a Self-Led life
The Daily Parts Meditation Practice® (DPMP®) is a structured yet soulful method developed by Michelle Glass to help individuals foster a consistent, relational connection with their internal parts. While traditional therapy sessions provide deep breakthroughs, the DPMP® is designed to extend that healing potential into everyday life, ensuring that no part is forgotten or overlooked once the session ends.
Highly acclaimed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) founder Richard Schwartz and Dr. Gabor Maté, this practice offers a clear roadmap for creating internal harmony and a coherent narrative across your fragmented or isolated parts.
The Six Essential Tools of Integration
At the heart of the DPMP® are six beautifully crafted tools that help you identify, track, and build trust with your internal system. These tools can be used individually or together to create a daily rhythm of gentle attention:
Parts Timelines: Track the history and evolution of your parts over time.
Parts Catalogue Cards (PCCs): Create tangible histories (of both burdened and unburdened states) of your parts capturing the essence of the unburdening process to deepen integration. As one client noted, these cards help you "instantly feel the part" and stay integrated.
Parts Biographies: Deepen your understanding of each part's unique story, burdens, and gifts.
Parts Maps: Visualise the complex interfaces and relationships between your parts, a skill described by Lead Trainers as "extremely valuable" for both personal growth and clinical practice.
DPMP® Guided Meditations: Establish a daily meditation practice, which is essential for changing lifelong survival patterns and inviting Self-energy.
Parts Externalisations: Use creative and artistic expressions to bring your internal world into the physical space, helping others (and yourself) see the "chain" of your parts.
